Attorney Ashley Taylor Speaks in Classrooms for Law Day 2023

On May 4, 2023, in recognition of Law Day 2023 and as a part of the New Hampshire Bar Association’s “A Lawyer and a Judge in Every School” program, Attorney Ashley Taylor spoke in two 4th grade classrooms at Captain Samuel Douglass Academy in Brookline, NH. In addition to describing what attorneys do and how they function within the three branches of government, the classes worked through the “No Vehicles in the Park” lesson plan, which prompted thoughtful discussion among each class on the nature of laws, as well as whether emergency vehicles specifically should be allowed in parks.

Attorney Taylor serves on the New Hampshire Bar’s Law-Related Education Committee, which is responsible for the Lawyer and Judge in Every School program. If you are a New Hampshire attorney, judge, or educator interested in learning more about participating in this program, please see https://www.nhbar.org/law-related-education/ and contact Robin Knippers at the New Hampshire Bar for any additional information.
