Investigations for the workplace and public and private educational institutions.

The investigations group at Pastori | Krans is experienced in conducting independent investigations in the workplace and for public and private educational institutions (K-12, post-secondary, and higher education).  We are trained to be neutral and independent fact finders, decision makers, and advisors.  Our team understands the importance of a trauma-informed process and is committed to meeting the highest standards of fairness and access. 

Areas of Investigation include

• Title IX investigations - fact finding and/or legal analysis and policy violations and recommendations

• Title IX informal resolutions

• Title IX advisors for students or faculty

• Civil Rights investigations - including First Amendment and claims of academic freedom

• Title VII workplace investigations of allegations of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in violation of policy (e.g. based on race, disability, sex, gender identity, and other protected classes)

• Investigation support and counsel - including testimony at school or campus hearings, oversight and coordination of investigations, and post-investigation workplace restoration

• Approved by United Educators

• Law enforement experience
