Attorney Deragon Appointed Chair of NHBA Gender Equality Committee

We are pleased to announce that Beth Deragon has been appointed by the New Hampshire Bar Association (NHBA) as Chair of the Gender Equality Committee.Attorney Deragon will serve with Vice Chair, Attorney Marcia Brown, of NH Brown Law, PLLC. The Gender Equality Committee (GEC) is a committee of the NHBA that investigates issues of gender discrimination and equality in the legal profession and in the legal system. The GEC undertakes projects that aim to ensure fair treatment and equality of all members of the legal profession and all participants in the legal system. The GEC will continue to analyze the results of latest NHBA Gender Equality Survey and develop strategies, in light of the #MeToo Movement, to encourage all attorneys to promote gender equality in the legal profession.Deragon is an of counsel attorney at Pastori | Krans whose practice focuses on advising businesses on a wide variety of employment law matters, including: hiring, disciplining and terminating employees; training supervisors and employees; internal investigations; employee handbooks and policies; wage and hour compliances; and employment contracts.
